First Annual BioWare Kiddie Kristmas Party By Theresa Baxter Jan 11, 2002 BioWare is literally growing before our eyes! We can now proudly state that not only do we have a youthful and playful staff, but our staff have youthful and playful offspring. BioWare held its first annual Kiddie Kristmas party on December 15 in our office lounge, where little hands played foosball, air hockey and generally ran amok.
Twenty children, ranging in age from one month to over six years, joined their parents (BioWare staff) in food, songs and crafts. Luckily, there was plenty of everything to keep everyone busy and occupied, while a special someone crept down the empty BioWare halls with a bag of goodies in hand.
The highlight of the event was a visit from Santa (if you can't recognize our guest Santa, all the better, as he would like to remain anonymous), who dispensed gifts and wisecracks. Needless to say, Santa's job was done quickly and efficiently and he departed with a nod and out the hall door he went!
It was an excellent party, allowing parents and staff to mingle and jingle, while the kiddies entertained themselves with the office toys. In all, a jolly day for everyone, and we're looking forward to next year (where this year's lot will be joined by at least seven more new additions!) |
