Breakfastic II

By Dups June 9, 2003

It seemed like such a good idea at the time: "Let's cook the staff a proper breakfast: bacon, sausage, the works!" In proper BioWare fashion, the admin and marketing staff quickly rallied around and set about cooking a hot breakfast for the other 140+ people at BioWare as a show of appreciation.

With only one minor explosion (I'm told that the flames were at least 3 feet high), which almost took out our Director of HR, Mark Kluchky, breakfast was prepared right on time. The recipe for success? Several kilograms of bacon strips, over 500 sausages, a vat of pancake mix, hundreds of eggs, and mounds of incredibly slow cooking hash browns.

However, Breakfastic II will also go down in history as the first time that "BIOWARE" was spelled out in bacon on our grill by Robin Mayne, Nils Kuhnert and Richard Iwaniuk. It was a "special" sight. I believe there was some talk about replacing the logos on our game boxes.

While we really can't say that any animals were hurt in producing this breakfast, none of your favourite game developers fell ill from our gastric experiment!
