Note for users of the 3CD set Baldur's Gate: The Original Saga:
The Original Saga is already running the latest game version. There is no need to install any patch. More information here.

Note to users of the five CD version of Baldur's Gate: When you are installing the five CD version of Baldur's Gate you must have both the "Baldur's Gate 1.1.4315" and "Baldur's Gate DirectX 8+" patches installed for your region. Multiplayer will not function on machines with later versions of DirectX unless both patches are installed.
