Notes Regarding BG: The Original Saga

Baldur's Gate: The Original Saga is already the latest game version. There is no need to install any patch.

If you have installed one of the Tales of the Sword Coast patches available from www.bioware.com, the game files that are replaced will cause BG: The Original Saga to start asking for the CDs from the 6CDs of the classic Baldur's Gate and Tales of the Sword Coast. If this has occurred, you will need to reinstall the game from the 3CD set. When you perform the uninstall of Baldur's Gate through the Add/Remove programs control panel, it should not remove your saved games. If you'd like to be safe, manually copy your SAVE or MPSAVE folder before you uninstall and then put them back after you have reinstalled.
