Casey Hudson’s departure from BioWare/EA

After nearly 16 years of game development at BioWare, Executive Producer Casey Hudson has made the decision to move on from BioWare and enter a new stage of his career. We thank Casey for his hard work and dedication as we look back on his time with BioWare.

It Takes a Village To Make a Game

BioWare partners with the University of Alberta’s CMPUT 250 course, which takes students from every faculty and teaches them how to work together.

BioWare to Attend the Edmonton Comic & Entertainment Expo

The Edmonton Comic & Entertainment Expo is happening in our own backyard at the end of September, and we are excited to announce that BioWare will be attending for the second year running. The event will have over 150,000 square feet of exhibit space in the Edmonton Expo Centre, almost three times larger than last year’s event!

BioWare Volunteers With Habitat for Humanity

While making games is our passion, we also love the community we live in and try to give a little something back whenever we can. Recently, the BioWare team volunteered with Habitat for Humanity in Edmonton, helping to build homes for a great cause.

BioWare at Dragon*Con 2013

The team at BioWare had such a great time at last year’s Dragon*Con that we’ll be making the trip to Atlanta again this year! Between August 31st and September 2nd, David Gaider (Dragon Age Lead Writer) and Aidan Scanlan (Assistant Director of Design) will be in attendance, and they look forward to meeting everyone.

BioWare Down Under at PAX Australia

BioWare has taken part in Penny Arcade Expo (or PAX) events before. Whether it’s Boston PAX East or the Seattle PAX Prime conventions, BioWare enjoys the chance to get our staff and development teams out with our fans. This year marked the first ever PAX outside the United States, and we were excited to send a team down under to Melbourne to meet our Australian fans.
